Dune, does the clasp of the band have Bulova Accutron also written on it?
Could be an Accurton 214 - 26106

Dear Admin,
The watch is "heavier" than those shown in the advert as it is quite bulky being a solid gold 18Kt watch & wristband rather than rolled or gold plate. On the inside of the clasp again is stamped BL. 18. .750 and a O with a line through the bottom at 6 o'clock position [pardon the pun] and finally what seems to be a capital I or 1
Could anyone advise what the .750 relates to on the clasp and inside of the bottom cover .750 is stamped next to the BL & 18Kt near the hallmark? The stamps and text are the same on the watch and wristband as they were bought as one piece rather than watch and then wristband.
Lastly I noticed on the watch and wristband it's stamped 18K and/or 18Kt rather than 18ct on the advert???
Please advise how many jewels the 214H movement has?
Regards
Dune

Good questions Dune.
Karat ('K" or "Kt")- term used to define the PURITY of gold
Carat ( "Ct")- term used to determine WEIGHT of gem stone
In the USA 'Karat' purity marking are required, in the EU the percentage of pure gold is a requirement hence 75% pure gold (18 K being 75% pure gold) would be marked .750 in the EU. Makes sense that a modern manufactured product would carry both markings.
BTW - beautiful time piece
An interesting dilemma.
The Watch is an 'ACCUTRON' Series 214, possibly model # 261 with the additional 06 of the model # displayed indicating a 6th variant of that model.
In looking at the 1965 ad K is adverised as #26101 and is essentially the same Watch on a Leather strap.
I believe this is the only database ad showing 'ACCUTRON' model #'s to 5 digits and agree with admins' strap variant theory.
'ACCUTRON' 261
