Don't know much about this watch other than what is labeled on it. Appears to made in 1963 from the date code. I believe it is a manual wind, but it is currently not functional.
I have not opened up the caseback, hoping to avoid that when identifying as I don't want to damage it. I do plan on having it serviced to get it working again.
Wow, this one is seldom encountered and a first for the database. Thanks for sharing it and congrats!

Thanks - This was my late father's watch. As you can see, it was a gift from my mom to him. :)
Thanks for posting that picture, I have to see if I can find a similar strap to bring it back to original.

I'm impressed, that is a pretty wonderful heirloom. Your Mom had impeccable taste :o)
Yes, it deserves to be brought back to life and fitted with a nice black alligator band (or even Lizard) like it was originally gifted!
Wonderful to see the watch in the metal. 1963 Bulova Jaguar "D"

Nice example, Jaguar "D"
Model became Goldcraft "B" around 1964
I suspect the case does not open in the back; access is through the top.
