Rolled gold watch with textured champagne dial. Applied gold tone indices. Front text "Bulova" and "Automatic" and Arabic numerals at the 12, 3, 6, and 9. Inner circle has a crosshatch and outer ring has corduroy pattern. I have searched all the ads from 1964 on the website and don't see this particular model, although I wonder if it's a Jaguar since some of those dials have similar designs.
I really like this one, great dial. After going through the linebooks from 1960 to 1963, I came up empty. My next search was Unknowns in the database from 1960 to 1963. That search yielded THIS ONE. The referenced watch appears to be a dead match with the exception of the dial center color. Texture, hands, case and back are a match.
My initial thought was your watch has a 3rd party replaced dial, but finding another like it would seem to indicate the watch is legit as presented.

Now we have two versions of this unknown. One day an ad will show up.
Loving this dial.
The Sea Clipper "CW" and "MW" have a dial with similar dial numbers and hands. If I had to guess I'd say the watch is part of the Sea Clipper group, but without any confirming advert or linebook I'm also at unknown.
Agree - the dial is the best, MCM all the way - I'd wear it even it doesn't have a proper name. 1962 Bulova Unknown
