Watch Description

23 jewel white stainless steel case self-winder that is about 33.6 mm not including crown and lugs.  Silver textured background dial with wedge-shaped indices at the compass points and linear indices at all others.  Pointed hour and minute hands with lume, and sweep second hand.  M2 date coded caseback with cool engraving on back.  I tried to look up what the engraving might be refering to but no luck.   Works very well.  Winds smoothly and keeps very good time.  I think this one is a Regatta.  Thanks for any info.

I think based on this being a 1962 that it will be under the Bulova 23 model line and not the Regatta 23 line.

I have the Regatta 23 N being a 1964 model and prior to that I find it as the Bulova 23 "CC"

Is it just me or does the Bulova 23 look to have a slightly recessed crown, compared to the Regatta?

Is it possible that this one is the Regatta and the referenced watch is a 23?

This one does have a slight crown recession in the case.  Added a fifth pic to show it.

It looks to be a match to the 1962 Bulova 23 "CC".

Ok I can now see the last photo that clearly shows a recessed crown (thanks for adding).

I'm good with a 1962 Bulova 23 "CC"
