Stephen,
Thanks. There's an example in the database, 1955 Senator. Counting the 'fingers' on the side of the case the example shows 7, this shows 9?

Maybe the artist thought 9 just to contrite?! Haha.... no really though... could just be a artist deciding he didn't want to cram the other's in.
It'd be pretty wild to have TWO 1955 watches looking exactly the same except for that diviation.

*edit to post: Case sides show 7 fingers as in the illustration not 9.
My bad.
Fifth- was there any date symbol on the case back?
Either a different Senator variant or a non-conforming dial.
Senator "A" is what this case shape has been ID'd as.

Old Ticker did a nice comparison of Senators A, B, C, and D here. I think we have been ID'ing based on case differences...and this watch simply has a redail not to original.
I'd be good with a tentative Senator "A" for this watch...and think it keeps us consistnet in ID'ing- at least least for the A, B, C and D variants of this series at this time period.
Senator "A" model number is 32701 in the above referenced ad.. In the 1961 price list, Senator 'A' model number becomes 13215 . According to this 1962 ad, the dial matches the subject watch.
1961 Bulova Senator "A".

1961 Senator "A"
Senator 'A' works for me.
