Watch Description

Senator 'J' I think ,  unable to see movement I'm afraid, but nice 'star burst' face and running well. Noticed that the '6' marker was chopped to provide for the sub second dial with this style of face

1960 'SENATOR'

there is no mention of the dial variation of the subject watch in any of the ads and the 'J' is on an expansion bracelet.

database ad dated 1960.

Well, that was certainly a lively discussion.

The Watch cannot be the 'J' variant, the 'J' variant shows a plain white dial, which differs from the subject.

'Close' only counts in Horseshoes and Hand grenades.

Happy to discuss ! I only plumped for 'J' because of  ones already listed  eg , https://www.mybulova.com/watches/1960-senator-j-11577.   The dial on line book picture , although a bit indistinct appears to match ok, including the style of the numerals which differ from the coloured ad  you posted . There are also differences in some  sub   dial markings  of 'J's already listed. So Line book or ad ? Or either !!)

Or idk, I completely missed the numerals bit and wish the linebook would have mentioned the dial.  They can't both be the 'J', can they?
