Gifted to my Great Grandfather upon his retirement from the USPS in 1961. Came to me with gold Spiegel stretch band. Seems to be same watch as in the attached advertisement.

I think I spy a typo. Watch is marked (and ad states) 14K gold. Linebook entry says 10K. Stephen, what year is the linebook entry from?

I think it is a typo in the linebook.
Linebook is 1958-1959_LineBook_BAWD0136.pdf.....so on the money.
1959 Bulova 23 "JW" is a good match.
