1959 Bulova 23 "CW". Same as the "C" with the exception of face text and apparently re-designated the "CW" in 1958. This is a classic "sock drawer watch", in the original box with manual and s/n filled in with a purchase date of Feb. 1960. I find no ads for the "CW" to verify, but I have to believe the JB scissor band on it is original. If not, I would think it's been on the watch since 1960.
Color is a little off in some of the photos; watch is 10K yellow gold RGP with a stainless back.
Around 1958 the model number 31305 changed from the 'C' to the 'CW'. Here is a 1959 ad:

Leather strap looks to be what came with the watch originally.

Nice ad match Ken! Band on subject watch is then likely a point of purchase upgrade. It looks like a 1960 Valentine's Day gift that was seldom if ever worn.
