White gold filled with a black dial sporting 3 diamonds and white gold indices. 17J movement. No notch in the dial indicating a refinish. I find this casing in solid yellow gold for the Envoy and Ellsworth - 21J with no diamonds. Nothing in gold filled or white. I'm stumped, but believe it's correct as seen. My best guess is Beau Brummell. Maybe somebody else will find an ad or linebook entry I missed.

If it's a redial, it's an elaborate one (indices removed and reapplied). No black on the bottom edges or sides of the indices and a clean open seam between bottom edges and dial surface. I'm stumped as well. If it is a redial, the question is a redialed what? I'm at a loss to find a case match.
The case bezel looks a lot like my 1942 Minute Man here: Bulova 1942 Minute Man | myBulova.com
It has an 8AE movement and the watch in question has an 8AC movement. Both of these movements are the same size and will fit in case backs designed for either. Case backs for different models of the Bulovas will often interchange and fit also. I've seen some Bulovas with so many mixed parts you can't tell what year they were originally. Have you looked inside the bezel to see if there are any Roman numerals scratched inside, and if so, do they match the case back serial number? I'm thinking it's possible someone took a newer movement and case back and put it in an older bezel.
