Whhere did you get the date of 1956?? Can you give us pics of the outside of the case back and closer pics of the movement please.

L6 date stamp on the case back. Sorry about the movement photo. Will shoot another, but it is what I say it is.

Any evidence that this Senator case design came with in both a leather strap version and expansion band version. If not I'm tentative Senator "B". Otherwise confirmed Senator.
