Thank you for such an informative, interactive site! It has been so much fun investigating the "mysteries" behind my Bulova watches. My grandma certainly loved her Bulova watches, we've found 4 around her home so far since she passed away. She was a very classy lady. Pictured is the prettiest of her Bulova watches, La Petite, I believe. ? It's a vintage ladies Bulova 23 watch with 14K white gold case & 1/20-12K white gold filled band w/ safety chain (marked K&PA?). Eight diamonds total - three at the top and bottom of case & a diamond link connecting to the band on either side. Serial #661887, movement #5AD, L6 - c1956. I also found a blue plastic Bulova watch case inside a matching blue Bulova box, each with different model names on them - "Miss America" and "La Petite".
your watch is La Petite "H"
Hello ginalaffs, welcome to myBulova. I'm a big fan of heirloom watches, I think you're fortunate to have this keepsake from your grandmother. I was just about to post an advert showing your watch as a La Petite "H" variant but it seems Jaroslav has beat me to it. If you plan to wear it regularly we recommend a full service every couple years. I see several watchmakers marks inside the case back so it appears grandma was doing the same. Thanks for sharing it.
