Hi All, Just joined the club a couple weeks ago and am finally having a chance to post my Bulovas. Any additional info on my watches would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi All,
I just joined the site a couple weeks ago. What a great Bulova resource this is! I'll be posting my Bulovas as time permits. Any additional information and comments are greatly appreciated.
This watch is in very good condition and runs well. I believe the leather band is a replacement, and I'm not sure if the crown is original or not.
Thanks!
Mike

Thanks!! Wonder what "TW" means . . .
Bulova 23 TW.
The "TW" is just a variant designation, doesn't really mean anything other than there were a lot of other variants by alphabetical progression before it, based on case shape, face, hands, band,etc..
Good advert match to the Bulova 23 'TW'.
Watch looks to be in great condition also.
Some of the most iconic Bulovas were these mid fifties 23's. There were just SO MANY cool variants between yellow, white, stainless, and all the different dials. This is a wonderful example Mike - well done.

Thanks for the nice compliment, Geoff. I like both the 23J and the 30J Bulovas. I've noticed that for every 1 23J watch there are about 10 30J watches available on the online markets. Are the 23Js more scarce?
Also, are all the 23J autos US Made? I read somewhere that not all of the 30J autos are US Made, ie, that some are Swiss made. I've posted a couple 30Js that open throught the crystal, and because I don't have the right tools I've not been able to examine the movements. With regard to the 30Js, is there any way to tell if they are US Made or not? In other words, are there certtain models that were Swiss Made, or certain years where all 30Js were US Made? I'm mostly interested in the US Made watches (I also collect the US Made Elgin autos).
Any thoughts appreciated!
Mike
There are a number of Bulova 30s that have a 10COAC movement that was made in the US.
The others 30's we have show a 10BZAC movement which was also made in the US.
