What a fantastic watch. Looks like you have yourself a 1956 Bulova 23 "A". A professional service and clean would break this watch right back to its original glory days. I suspect that your grandfather would be chuffed to see you wear it.

Bulova introduced Caravelle in 1962 as a good quality but more affordable line. Like Westfield in the early days.
