The case looks to be a white version of the Bulova 23 'J' variant, but the dial is much different. I do not find a matching variant for this particular one, but it would appear to be part of the Bulova 23 line.

Agree with Bulova 23 "J"

Ive seen yellow gold case with silver hands/markers but not white gold case with yellow hand/markers but there again I have not seen this style of case in 14kt white gold before . Not had this long trying to find info is a nightmare but I guess its a Bulova J 14kt white gold case self winding 6 adjustments and be happy with that lol .

Very nice watch, I like this case style. I would tag it as a "23" too but without a variant designation. It does seem odd that the markers are yellow gold.

I agree, it's a "23" but variant is an unknown for now.

Confirming variant.  1956 Bulova 23 "X".  It does not say white gold but everything else matches except a small variation on the 1/2/4/5/7/8/10/11 markers.

The case does state 14K Gold. I do question the dial being different and potentially a different variant.

Could just be a newspaper render thing.

Not sure it helps but the 1958 price guide only has 1 Bulova 23 at $150 and that's the 'DW" variant.

"IW" and "KW" are priced at $175.

All could be totally different watches by 58.

1956 Bulova 23 "X" looks like a match. Great ad find!

Not sure I'd update this one, the dial just doesn't match to my eye
