Watch Description

I'm pretty sure I have a1955 Royal Lancer. This was an inheritance from my father. He purchased the watch new while in the army. He has not worn it since the mid 1960's and always intended to have it cleaned. Sorry, I forgot to take a picture of the inside of the back cover, but I can tell you it did not have any service engravings in it. The watch runs fine. All I did was polish it. Thank you for reviewing.

It is great you have your fathers watch.   I wish i had mine.   It is indeed a 1955 Bulova Lancer.  I would not run it too much as the oil is probably dry and running it for extended periods of time can do damage.   Definitely recommend a service if your intend on wearing it regularly.
