I just inherited this watch from a family member and was trying to find out more information about it. I'm exactly sure of the year so based on the information on this site, I'm assuming it is from the 1940s. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much, I was curious do you know if the watch is a wind up or motion wind for the watch to keep time?

Thank you and I'm excited and happy to see some of the original sales advertisement. Do you know if the watch is a wind up or a motion wind up to keep the accurate time?

It would be a manual wind movement. You are welcome, I love seeing the advertising as well!
