1955 Bulova 23 "A" is a good match.  The movement looks to be original as the name implies all Bulova 23 watches were 23J movements.

Already done before my last comment. Thats why im asking have you ever saw the 10cbac in this watch before ?

Probably not cause this is the first one in d.b. with this movemwnt and its the first time we saw the 10cbac with 23 jewels...

So much rare ? just a swap? or.....

The 10CBAC was a transitional movement for about short time between 1954-1956 and are quite rare.    Your example is the only 23J 10CBAC movement we have had reported to MyBulova.  All 6 others of this movement reported here are 17J and different model watches.   I have no doubts the movement is original to your watch and thus making this a very rare combination.   I suspect the 10BPAC was used on most of the 23J movements but a few of the 10CBAC movements were used.     To date this is the first example of this movement in 23J reported here.

So i have to really take care with it as its a very rare bird.

So cool to know it and hoping to all parts are in good condition inside to bring it back to life.
