Bulova 1954 Seabee

1954 Bulova Seabee (model 161)

This is a NOS watch that appears never to have been worn. The case is chrome plated, not SS. Back is dated L4 and is Stainless, with ☆Water Tite☆ stamp, not sure if this makes it a Star case. Luminous numerals and hands (look to show oxidation), with outer seconds chapter on a white dial that shows some age. Swiss made manual-wind 10BUC L4 dated Movement and dial are accessed through the top by removing the bezel ring, crystal, and two-part stem. Has the original leather band (this would have been gray, and color has worn away or faded, but there are remnants of the gray around the edges); also has the hang tag with model 161 - Wht. 161 corresponds to model name Seabee in the 1954 Pricelist.
