I thought this was a Watertite for obvious reasons. The Watertite “C” was the closest match but none were exact. Then I saw in the discussion of a ‘54 Watertite where someone mentioned the Seabee model. I had forgotten the Seabee was of the same model family. So the Seabee does appear to be a match.

While this is my first Seabee, it will go in a case with the Watertite and Convoy models.

1954 Bulova SeaBee looks to be a good match.

The contributing factors for ID'ing Watertitite vs. Seabee seem to be year, lug profile and shape of sweep second hand.

I don't see any feature of my watch that exclusive to the Seabee. I looked through the Watertite models and found all the parts of my watch on one watch or another.

It's difficult to compare lugs between different pictures due to lighting. There are 1950-54 Watertite's that have the same dial, hands, and possibly lugs but they all have at least one feature different. But that's how we end up with different models using a limited number of parts. If there were only two versions of each part (H/M hands, seconds hand, dial, case) that allows for 16 possible combinations. Add one more style to any of the parts and the possible combinations increase to 24. Oh the possibilities.
