Hi All,
I was recently gifted with this beautiful watch from my grandfather who is close to passing. He didn't have much information on it but knows that he bought it in the 50's. I opened it up and confirmed that it's a L4, movement: 10CSC, 17 Jewell. Case really looks like the Saber Jet that I saw on the site here, but the placement of "selfwinding" on the dial is throwing me off.
Any thoughts, info, or help in positively identifying this watch would be appreciated!

Thank you! With the Sabre Jet just being in production for a year or so, I guess it surprised me that they would have multiple dial iterations. With that said, I know so little about vintage watches. Thanks for educating me.
1954 Bulova Sabre Jet is a good match. Your grandfather must have worn that watch for decades. It shows lots of wrist time which makes it even more special.
Very nice! Sabre Jet is a good match.
