Unknown unusual model to me. Similar to the Jefferson hooded lugs. 10kgf bezel and back.

Wow, what a great looking watch Gary. As unusual as this case is, it seems it would be an easy ID but alas, I see nothing. Bulova advertised more in the 50's than any other decade and yet here's one I don't think we've ever seen. Stephen, Jerin, Ken off you go to find that missing advert!

I did find an advertisement that shows this watch; however, it does not provide model names:
Note the different crystal (from the subject watch), 21-jewels, and the price of $89.50 - the 1955 January Pricing List has three Jefferson models, one of which is $89.50 (37193); Jefferson models already identified in the database and supporting ads are for the $85.00 model. (other ad)
Probably not enough to identify this watch as the $89.50 Jefferson, since there are a few other models also at that price...and no model name in the advert

That ad was found by me, it is used on several watches here. Chck the price ($85) and the subjects original price ($89.50).
We have several matches, Seaford, His Highness, Galahad "A" and "C", and Jefferson.
The Galahads are diamond watches, the His Highness is already ID'd, as is the Seaford. That leaves the Jefferson. Different variant to the $85 model.
We have seen this model a few times before but have yet to find a conclusive ID. So it remains Unknown for now. Very nice example Gary, just don't see many in such good condition.
Unfortunately the crystal catalogs don't help much either, the correct crystal for the ad would be the single gable GS CMX326-35G which is shown in the ad and ID'd as the "Q" varient.
This size and curvature crystal is probably the most used in the Bulova line-up of the era...fit everything from the AA's His Excellency's + a few more...six crystals all the same size with very slight differences in curvature...
At this stage I have to disagree with the Jeffereson. I cannot see the side camel humps in the adverts. The first advert above is the watch in question however there's not model name...typical!!

most likely an 'AA' post lawsuit, evidence suggests these models were re-named late in 1952, early '53.

I can see the "camel humps" quite clearly in the blown-up pic, and in the full ad.
Price will help with ID, as there are several known models and one at the same original price, which makes it easier. By comparing model names/prices in the price lists, we might find an ID.
My money's on the Jefferson.
