Here is one of those rare models that doesn't show up very often. The case is yellow gold plated with Stainless back and L3 date code. The movement is a 17J 10BT also with an L3 date code. Dial is silver with even Arabic numbers and dots for odd numbers. Based on this previous conversation and ID regarding if this is a SKy King or Pelham https://mybulova.com/watches/1952-sky-king-13414 I might have a 1953 Bulova Pelham due to the beveled crystal. I am not sure we have conclusively determined if this is a crystal difference or model year but based on Bob's watch being ID'd as a Sky King without a beveled crystal I will do with the Pelham designation.
Pelham seems to be correct, with the beveled crystal.
My first thought was, wait - Bulova didn't use that crystal. But there it is in a line book. 1953 Bulova Pelham

Makes it very easy to read...NOT :-)
I think the difference between Pelham and Sky King is primarily year of production in conjunction with crystal change.
