Watch Description

1953 Bulova Aurora (2 Diamonds)

I didn't find one of these already in the database, so maybe it will be the first.

10K Yellow Gold Filled case with white gold around each diamond and lug, dated L2, matching Roman Numerals etched inside case of last three of s/n 041; Swiss 6BL 17-jewel movement dated L3, I just serviced with new mainspring; not the original expansion band, but was on the watch, so I kept it; new GS CC 294-5 crystal; came in the hard shell display box, so assuming it is original.

Linebook 132 from 1957, no other ads found

That's a real stunner, Ken. Love the 2 tone w/diamonds.

1953 Aurora looks to be a match, well found.

I wonder if the original band was white or yellow gold filled?

Thanks, I would guess yellow for the original band, but a combination would probably look good.

Well done Ken - another stunner! 1953 Bulova Aurora, (I like the current band better than the original)
