I was thinking Ambassador A all the way until I noticed the 4 small raised lines on each of the lugs not present on the Ambassador A in the database. It is up to you guys not to make this one #12 in my unknown column lol
Cool watch! I think it is an Ambassador "F". Ad from the Windsor Star, Canada, Jul 23, 1953.

1953 Buylova Ambassador "F"
Case looks to be Amb 'F', but hands and cross-pattern dial do not.

The cross pattern doesn't always show up in the ads I have noticed, like on the AA.
So at least I was in the right family, just didn't see the F
Now that I'm looking closely at the hands, each one looks to be different

Based on the unusual "stand alone" case design and the matching face indices and numbers, I'm comfortable calling this one Ambassador "F", noting replaced hands and slight chance of dial swap. It's hard to say but there is a possibility the low resolution ad doesn't show "X" dial detail.
1953 Ambassador "F"
100% agree with the 1953 Ambassador "F", noting hands.
