14k yellow gold, two diamonds, gold expansion band (not original) movement was made in 1951. Any additional info anyone has would be great!
Hi Any chance of more photos please- like those of other watch records? You say movement made in 1951- so I'm guessing you saw an L1 on the movemet somewhere. Same question with watch date entered- 1952- was there an L2 on the case back?
Thanks
La Petite I feel, variant unknown.
It has the La Petite styleing, 21 Jewel movement and looks like a small diamond accent on each lug.
Tentative La Petite from me.
I'll get better photos when I can, I know someone with a better camera. Yes, the movement is stamped L1 and the caseing L2.
The La Petite line ALL had 23 jewels, subject looks imore like the Cecile case.

Sorry Bobbee, but not all La Petite's were 23 jewels, in fact most were 21 jewels. The High end ones were solid 14K, lots of diamonds and 23 Jewels. Then they moved into the Candlelight series I believe.

This 1976 ad shows the La Petite line carried on after the Candlelight series started in the 1960's, and were still all 23 jewels.

Some slight variations in case of subject watch and Cecile. Case comes closer to La Petite style. Tenative La Petite.
I have looked at every single La Petite ad in the DB, and the newspaper ads, and many more in the wiki link ads, and the La Petite are all 23 jewels Shawn, right up to the 1970's.
I have not seen a single La Petite that looks quite like this design either, could anybody show a La Petite ad that has less than 23 jewels and/or has this case design or similar?
Good point Bobbee. I did think of that but then put it down to a 21J variant. But now that I have gone through all the 1950 adverts I have, I also note that the first appearance of the La Petite was 1956, so Unknown for me.
