This watch is advertised in 1950 and 51 as "Ashford", in 1953 we find is advertised as "Jordan". I don't find either in a 1952 ad which makes me lean toward "Ashford"

Jim,

What was once mocked and ridiculed by some is now a firmly established fact....

The strap can and does make a difference in the Watch Model Name.

I'm thinking Ashford, but with the band being the main difference, it really could be either. The deciding factor is the year, basically, unless we get some new ads. I wonder if that was real Alligator. The same strap alone nowadays would be well over a hundred bucks.

I'm in for Ashford - you found the ad.

1952 would make it "Ashford".
