I assume this watch is a DuoWind from 1951. The movement auto weight is marked L1. The inside screw caseback shows 51 and 63605 which has been double stamped. Curious why it was double stamped with the serial number inside case back. The lugs are gorgeous. The hands are gold and radium filled which has left a burn on the dial.
I'm coming up empty on finding a match for this one. Duo Wind or Watertite are possibilities.
Unknown at this time.
Watertite is a possibility; it's also possible that this is a European model based on the case markings. Date, Swiss and s/n on the inside of case back.
Sorry, unknown for me as well at this point.
Love the color of that dial! Not finding a match.
Unknown for now.
1951 Bulova Unknown
I'm thinking this watch might be part of the Watertite series. Case back is marked "WATERTITE", which is not common.
Watch has dial and hand characteristics similar to others in the series.
I'd ID as a generic 1951 Bulova Wtaretite

The Watertites and Duo-Wind often went hand in hand.
Found in the 1957 Linebook BAWD0132. Here is another new name for the database although there is a large gap between line book and subject watch. An exact match.
1951 Bulova Prescott

Looks like a match to me.
1951 Prescott
Confirmed the Prescott and model number #1079 was active as early as 1953 according to the 1953 Sales Book.
