'SPENCER'
ad is Dated 1953 http://www.mybulova.com/sites/default/files/vintage_ads/bulova-ad-1953-…
Kennedy,
What is the date code on the movement?
Is there a date code on the case?
Is the case stamped Bulova?
Can add pics of the movement and outside case back?
Thanks
Looks like a Spencer. Would be nice to see the case back on both sides and the movement. If the confirm 1953 then I will vote Spencer
date code on case is L1, date code on movement is L2 and the case is stamped Bulova, right above the L1
Spencer, 3 ticks. Thanks for the additional info Kennedy.
Spencer from me. Thanks for the additional info Kennedy
Agree - Spencer
Not the Spencer.
This is a Duo Wind "L", as per 1952 newspaper ads, and same date in the regular full ads.
The Spencer has a quartered "shadow" effect dial, the subject watch does not.
Date needs changing to 1952, L2 on movement.
Here is the two-tone dialled Spencer, and below is the 1952 ad for the Duo-Wind.

Record up for reveiw based on above. Date changed from 1951 to 1952.
