I bought this at Auction in a lot with many other watches. In my research, I couldnt find any similar for sale or even sold for that matter. When I did look by the date, the Berkshire came up. The only thing I was able to find was an old photo of an ad with this identical watch shown and named CARLA (see photos). The watch is 10K RGP and the watch band is 1/20 12k GF. There is damage to the band as you can see in the photos but I thought I should add it here in case anyone else is searching for it...
Agree with CARLA ID
What do you think the value of this watch would be? Is it rare?
Excellent!
This watch/bracelet combo has been talked about extensively on this site in a couple of threads.
Now we have an actual example with it's original bracelet!
Fantastic find tc, I can imagine several collectors drooling over this one, myself included!
Carla, really, really cool.
Carla
The Carla. I had one of these with original bracelet about 3 or 4 years ago before we knew the bracelet belonged. Scrapped the bracelet and got a nice leather band. Oops...
Also we don't give estimated prices on this site.
Very nice find, thanks for sharing it with us. I agree with Carla id.
Thanks for all the feedback, glad I was able to find something interesting!
Hi tcbean28, welcome to myBulova. Cool find on this one. Always wondered what that bracelet would look like. I see it also has an expansion feature (the links 'stretch') that surprises me.
Carla is my vote for ID.
Ad does say "expansion bracelet" Geoff... :-)
Always thought that this was called a Lady Berkshire , I have a pristine one in my collection so will now have to amend my records.
