Another junker restored. This is a model I have wanted for some time. Found this one on Ebay and in really rough cosmetic shape. I never saw soooo much human DNA caked in the bezel with holes in the case back. I had to soak it in an ultrasonic cleaner for hours then try to polish in-between the markers which is not easy on this model. It came out nicely. The back was worn thru from years of winding wear so I found a 1951 case on ebay swapped out the back. (Anyone need a good condition Berkshire bezel and dial I have one just PM me).
1951 Bulova Berkshire
10KT RGP Yellow gold case with gold case back with L1 date code. The original serial number was 4439982 and now has 4902802. The 17J movement is a 10BC with an L1 date code.
Well done!, not much question here, it's a stand alone model.
