Watch Description

found in my grandmother's house.  I have no details about it other than the band was not attached.  Some of the markings look like it might be from 1949-1950 but the movement # doesn't match anything I can find.  I think it might be a Miss America based on other photos?

Yes, I agree. It's a 

1950 Miss America "A"

The movement is dated 1949.  A difference of one year between case and movement is a fairly common thing. A nice heirloom from your Grandmother.

Thank you all!  It is on it's way to a repair shop for a quick clean and inspection.  Hopefully they can also help with a replacement band.
