This appears to be a 1949 Squadron "B". I have owned it for 10 years, and, only after servicing the movement again, I am finally adding it to the site.
The case shows little wear, the 20.5 × 17.7 military crystal has some minor scratches, and the dial shows some discoloration. The case back is original to the bezel, as the engraved Roman numerals match the last three digits of the case serial number. The watch appears to be from 1949, but the 8AE movement is dated 47. It also has the rose gold Bretton expansion band that came with the watch when I acquired it, which appears to be original, based on the advertisement.
A nice example on an original style band in nice condition.

Artistic license. If you view the other examples of 1949 Squadron B's on site; all have a seconds track like subject watch and not like above ad.

of course you're right ! probably a misdraw.
Anybody notice that Bulova used several different movements in the '49 Squadrons? 8AC, 8AD, and 8AE.
1949 Bulova Squadron is a good match. Nice example too.
