That's what I was thinking- is it possible to get a closeup of the dial? It appears to be a more 'cartouche-y' kind of look. Are there additional stones for indices? Or just the rubies?
All the other markers have white stones, at the quater hour markers are rubies, i have a better photo of the dial but unsure how to post it.
In reply to I see the similarity with by jabs
Good ad find jabs, I think you may be right, ad lists 8 brilliant white stones and 4 simulated rubies. Carol seems to be either/or white or red stones. Lugs appear to be correct as well. A close-up photo would be a great help.
has any one any idea of a date on it, in the box folded up is a Bulova certificate with a jewellers signiture and the date of 1949, but the serial number on the document does not match the watch case number.
we believe the signature on case, what marking is here ?

its been badly stamped but looks like bulova A9
In reply to its been badly stamped but by dougindoors1957
then 1949 will be the correct year of manufacture
So it looks like a 1949 Heather from the advert posted the dial stone configeration matches. how can i post a better photo admin?
