This is the first vintage Bulova I've ever purchased. Suprisingly it keeps almost perfect time even though it clearly hasn't been serviced in a long time based on the gunk surrounding the movement. It's in remarkable condition and seems to be all original besides the bracelet; it even has the original signed crown. I bought a matching rose gold-filled Kreisler mesh bracelet and I think it matches the watch perfectly. Looks to be a 1949 Bulova Squadron "B".
You're off to a good start of a Bulova collection Narsh2436. The case serial number starts with an "8", so I believe this would be a 1948 Sqaudron instead of a 1949.
Agree with the Squardon designation. Based on case serial number begining with 8 this is a 1948 Bulova Squardon.
1948 Bulova Squadron B
I'm also on board with the Squadron B.
