1947 Senator "E" on what appears to be the original band. The faint groove around the crown suggests the watch wasn't worn very much, as that disappears after years of repeated winding.

The crystal is a blue tinted replacement as the original was clear.

Thanks for the info, I was wondering about the blue crystal. I had also noticed there were no 1947 Senator pics posted on the website here. Were they less frequent than the other year models?

We really have no way of answering your question. A lack of a particular model in a particular year on the site doesn't equate to rarity. Bulova mass produced MILLIONS of watches for over a HUNDRED years only a couple eight or nine thousand have found their home at myBulova. Thanks for sharing yours!
