Pristine 1946 Tuxedo in original box. I picked this up for myself today. I think it's a Tuxedo with the original band.
Can't wait to get it in next week. Would love confirmation on if the band is original and just a variant on what they sold back then. Thank you so much. Love what you guys do for people.
Just discovered: There was a note under the watch holder it is dated in ink 12/25/1941
I can't quite read the gold content, is it solid gold?
I'm pretty confident the band is aftermarket, I don't think Bulova used anything like this. The presentation case may actually date to the early 1950s so the note you refer to is unusual I think.

The watch is solid 14k. The band is not.

Gorgeous watch and the band goes nicely with it. Without the 14k solid gold band I believe this is a Craftsman.

1946 Bulova Craftsman "A"
Wish I could find that band!
1946 Bulova Craftsman looks to be a good match. That bracelet is absolutely awesome albeit a replacement.

Why not 1947 as per the case serial number?

The Tuxedo with the corresponding serial is 1946
