Thank you for posting your watch.   That dial certainly had seen better days but you did a good job.   The closest match I could find was this 1943 add for a Miss America.  Recognizing this might be a variant of this model with the black dial.

Miss American

the lug are slightly different.

take a look at ANNETTE model in d.b. its not lie and the year/lug match much better.

I submit that the case is very close to Annette, the dial however is not as Annette ad a roman dial. I believe we would date the case to 1947 ("G" serial number). A 1946 movement/dial could be a replacement.

Well one thing is for sure, we can agree that the watch is from 1946.

I think Jim has suggested the closest model match and agree that it's not an Annette.

I'm still unsure of the exact model.

few things im sure about this watch.....

  1. the lugs on ANNETTE are rounder than subject watch at the end of the lugs. so not a ANETTE.
  2. the MISS AMERICA got dome-shapes end lugs....yes a draw in ad can be slightly different than reality...... but ......
  3. even if we state its a miss america, we have no ad from 1940 to 1949 with a rose gold variant. and i spent 2 hours to check one by one all 40' ads...... with no match finding.
  4. Just in wait of a possible spread from linebook .......
  5. rose gold cas from this period are not in large nuber.......

Bad lucky me with this one..

we can see with her excellency 48' that the yellow case have arabic numerals and rose gold case have roman numerals..... thats why i tough it was a ANETTE variant...... let see if linebook or kathy can nailed it

I think the first ID - a 1946 'MISS AMERICA' was correct.
