Good match to ad, Jabs. Treasurer for me.
I agree, this is the Treasurer in 1946. Changed to His Exc by 1947. Good looking watch!

Thank you. I bought both 1946 watches in the same lot on ebay a few months ago for a steal. I couldn't believe that there were'nt more bidders. Both just needed cleaning.
Based on Ken's price list research on JimDon's Yellow gold version, there were 3 variants of this watch A,B, and C.. Yellow gold is confirmed as "A". When Bulovas are listed as more than one color choice, yellow seems to always be listed as first choice and white second, that would make the less common choice of Rose third.
Geoff has a listed Treasurer in Rose gold, so we know they exist and that the third variant choice isn't face color only (in a Y case) or band related. That logically says this subject watch is a B, and Geoff's beauty (also a 1946) is a C .
I'm comfortable calling this one a 1946 Treasurer "B".
Yep.. Treasurer for sure. White gold is usually B for these few years.
Treasurer it is. B variant works for me.
1946 Bulova Treasurer B
I saw this add in your archives. Exact match for the white gold with grey dial.
