Watch Description

I think this a 1946 Knickerbocker. I am looking to repair this watch and would appreciate any information on reputable repair businesses. Bulova said they no longer have parts available for this watch.  The outside case in marked 10KT ROLLED GOLD PLATE. The watched was refurbished by Bulova in the early 2000's

I assume you're the "Peter" that had this dandy inscribed to "Papa". Congratulations on having a wonderful family heirloom, you must be very proud! I think you're right in that this a 1946 Bulova Knickerboker, like this one. Depending on where you live we might be able to recommend a reputable watchmaker.
