Trying to identify this watch that was my mother-in-laws. Not sure if it's 1936 or 1946. From what little research I've done, it looks like the Shirley watch. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello camsgram, welcome to myBulova. I'm kind of at a loss to ID this watch. As far as I can tell, it's identical to Shirley, other than the gold content listed on the case back. Jaroslav is correct that the Shirley wasn't advertised in solid gold

Agreed that everyting points to a Bulova 'Shirley', but no mention of a 14K version, so I'm also with Unknown, until such time we can confirm the model came with a solid gold variant.
