Will, this appears to be the same case as Mark's "44 Tildon but different hands and dial. How do your crystal measurements compare?

Yea I entered it cause it looked like Tildon. Gotta dig out the watch. I may have sold it (poor organization for these watches I haven't "seen" for years). I'll check my notes if I can't find the watch.
'TILDON' - ID based on Crystal info.
The GS Crystal is listed as fitting the 'TILDON' and the 'REGULATOR' - (at one time) We had an ad for the 'REGULATOR' which showed this Case with a Center Seconds type Movement.

subject 15 jewels, Fifth's Tildon 17 jewels.
1945 "Clipper", with white dial variation.http://www.mybulova.com/sites/default/files/vintage_ads/bulova-ad-1945-3.jpg
Dammit, Clipper has 17 jewels. Identical case though.
EDIT: Fifth's Tildon might be the Clipper though!
Could be the "Tildon", as the 17 jewel black dialled models seem to be "Clippers".

I could be persuaded to vote Clipper but see no ad for Tildon. Until ad surfaces I could not support Tildon ID, crystal data is not enough for me.
I'm not seeing an ad that shows this Watch as a 'CLIPPER' - 15 Jewel Movement, Dial differs.
* Crystal spec ID's alone are now off the table for Me personally as far too many have been debunked by ads and IMO are best left to aid the 'close calls'.
'UNKNOWN'
Agreed, Unknown.
