Hour and Minute Hands are Fils Style and an Index style Seconds Hand shows on a Sub-Dial partially obscuring the 6. Caseback is Stainless Steel. The Pigskin Band I have more of if You want one, the Rose Gold Deployment Clasp was a special order. Sent an IM with the info.
** Not to totally confuse matters Gentlemen but when looking at some of the old Bulova Radio Dials they used this exact Numeral font on some..... and the Fils style Hands do look like the Dial indicator.

Well, here we go again . I've seen so many of these in yellow and rose gold and with about a half dozen dial variants. We also know there's another version of the Spencer with the same case, different lugs. Go figure. We have the Senator in 1941, 1942 , 1943 calls the gold on with silvered dial the Senator A, and another ad clearly shows the Spencer with exploding copper dial but with the wire lugs.The 1944 Wards ad shows the Senator and says it was available in yellow and rose and again in 1946,1947,1948 ads. Sad thing is we have no 1945 ads and we have no Senator ads with the radial figures (exploding dial).
Logic would dictate and we can assume that the rose gold Senator dial would have been the same as the rose gold Spencer. A silvered dial in a rose case just doesn't work.
Also consider that the Senator was obviously manufactured from at least 1941 to 1948 without a name change.
Sorry Fifth, but given this is 1945 watch, I'd have to cast a vote for Senator model " ? ".
The jewellers postcard may say Spencer but it just doesn't make sense to me as we don't see any Spencer model in any ads after 1943.
Shawn, appreciate the knowledge and input but in using the 'one case' theory then below would not be the 'BLACKOUT' ?
We do not see an ad for the wire lug cased 'SPENCER' (in which We see this style of printed exploding numerals) post 1943, if the step lug Case were a popular seller then why not add other model names to the design? We know Bulova did this all the time.
'SPENCER' and 'RADIO CITY' accept the same crystal and out of all the ads in the database (there are many) none show the 'SENATOR' with anything other than a Gilt Arabic numeral Dial in the standard layout.
Calling it the way I see it.
