Watch Description
This appears to be a 1945 Norman. It is a yelllow gold plate case with a stainless case back. The movement is a 10BA with a triangle date code. The white dial has gold applied hour markers. The case back has an awesome engraving C.O. Gifford SSN US NAVY. The watch looked like it had been put away a long time ago and was not running and came on a very old GEMEX leather strap that could be original. I serviced the watch and conditioned the leather. I need to polish the crystal a bit.
