Wow, nice find. Appears to be on the original band. Date stamp on movement appears to be a square indicating 1946, while serial number starts with a 5 (1945); so yes it's a 1945 Douglas B.

Dates are based on the case when there isn't a match to the movement, as the movement 'could' be a replacement.
1935 Bulova Douglas 'B' for me.

I think you mean 1945 not 1935? I see the Panel is evaluating a 1935 and must have gotten the watches confused.
