This watch has been fully restored, dial and hands Relumed by international dial Co. Movement cleaned and serviced by Mike at Timemachines. she's a beauty. The movement has an X and T stamped on it.
1943 Brewster, I believe.
The hands have been replaced, and not clear whether Brewster came as a 21 jewel model.
Brewster looks right to me.
Case is that from the Brewster series and the dial and hands look to be from a Blackout model. Movement, Brewster came with a 17??
So we either have an previously unknown military style model or a non-conforming watch made up of different model components.
The case is 42, mvnt is 43. Case is Brewster but yes Stephen the Brewster was a 17 J mvnt. This is looking very much like a non-conforming watch to me, the dial / hands do not appear in any ads in this case style.
The case and crystal is the same as the attorney , the advert I just added was found on the watchophillia site showing the Jefferson , but as noted there the dial and hands are military , not matching the advert 100%

I was reading that wrong, I took that to mean the movt was double stamped x and t. We have Brewster ads that do not specify jewel count, but I'm inclined to believe that more than the hands have been swapped out at this point.

I have to disagree about anything being swapped out, the same exact watch is on the watchophillia site , I could be wrong but why would there be two? Still since there is no true advert to back up to who knows.
I see what you mean, however, the hands are different from the ad shown beside it.
With the movt dating later than the case, I am inclined to think it has been replaced, usually the dates are the other way around. Now, if this is indeed a Jefferson with hands replaced, the movt jewel count is correct. We have no indication of a higher jewel count for the Brewster, as yet.
Given these considerations, I think what we have here is more likely the Jefferson with hands non conforming..
