I have no clue on this one...
I've searched the database and come up empty. Date code on movement is circle stamped overtop of X.
This crystal is glass and came with the watch. Consider the possibility that it is original? I have a few other similar NOS Glass Crystals...slightly smaller with BULOVA label on them.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

the only assistance I can render Jeff is a 'WOW', I like it.
It appears to be an early attempt at a hidden lug / waterproof design (?) , I have a similar Case but it's SS and dated early '50's.
The bezel around the Glass pops off?
Yes Mark, the movement is removed by taking off the bezel.

I was thinking this last Evening - the personalized engraving seen on some of these old timers are works of art in their own right, You couldn't have anything like that done today at the kiosk in the center of the mall.
