This one fascinates me. Rose gold front loader with copper face sporting yellow gold markers and black printed minutes track. Blued stick hands. Lugs are recessed under case giving it a really "out of character look" for the year.
An interesting note: there are currently 5 watches in this case in the database counting this one that have been submitted since 2012. Four are identical (to this one) and one has a different dial. Of the 5, 4 have a picture of the movement. All 4 of these have a factory date stamp on movement for 1943 (X) with a lighter 1944 overstamp (O). All 5 are in cases dated 1943. Just an observation. I'm going to speculate this one was produced for a very short time.
Here are the others in the database
Running and keeping reasonable time.
Fabulous watch, congrats on finding it. Love the dial and that it is a front loader.

Rose gold watches were abundant in the 40s, and this one's design does seem to be a little out of place for that time. I think it looks quite nice, that dial probably looked rather sharp when new. Movement looks clean too.
