Watch Description

I saw one of these that sold quite awhile ago on one of the fancy vintage watch selling sites a dozen years ago.  I've been on the lookout since.  Last week I finally found one for sale in a lot of 11 watches (not all Bulova).

Super happy to get it.  Lisa has one on her site but the dial is wrong as she admits.  The other one I saw had this dial.  I'm assuming it's one of the unknowns on the crystal and model lists.

Wow that is a dandy watch, I can see why you have been looking for one.  I love these dials.  Yes probably Unknown but will take a look and see if anything comes up.

Interesting watch.  I cannot recall seeing this hooded lugs before.   Just thinking outside the box....by any chance does the hooded lugs look applied to a Commodore?  I am wondering if it was a jewelers add on to upsell the watch.  I am at Unknown on this one.

Naw... they are totally legit. Looking at the back of them it's factory.  They actually are little slits all the way through almost like a car grill.

The case serial number looks like it starts with a "Z".

Would be good to see the ends from the back without the strap in place.

Unknown for me.
