Hello, I picked up this watch because I love the original band. It has a 10K rolled gold plate bezel and stainless back. I love the patina on the dial. I think it is the Senator "D". This is my first mens watch of this style and I really love it. Let me know what you think : )
What a beauty, good for you! The original band is harder to find than the watch, and what designates the variant letter!
I will agree with 1941 Bulova Senator "D"

Thank you! I really love the band. I was able to pick up a Senator box that I should get tomorrow.
Senator 'D', looks great with that band.

Yes I think the band really makes the watch special.
Excellent example with original band!
1941 Bulova Senator 'D'.
Men's watches from this period are much smaller than today, and in my shop I sell quite a few of these to women who wear them. My sister wears a 1957 Ambassador 'G'.

Thank you! Yes it is about the same size as a couple of my modern ladies watches so I can understand why women would buy them in your shop. If I had seen them in person sooner I would have purchased one before now : )

Got the box for it today. Not sure if this is the exact box for 1941 but it is close enough for me : )
