I know nothing much about this watch except that it was handed down to me from my father in 1974 when he passed away. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi Chris; welcome! Thank you for sharing your wonderful heirloom with us. We have seen this model in the past, but up to this point have been unable to identify his name. By case serial number, it's a 1941 with a 1942 dated movement which is not unusual. The hands appear to be replacements installed during a service which really is of no consequence, as it's a family piece as worn by your Dad. . It's just like this one. Sorry, but it's a
